Poetry Friday August 5, 2022: THINGS WE FEEL Poetry Anthology

Today’s Poetry Friday host is Molly at Nix the Comfort Zone.

THINGS WE FEEL Anthology

One of the best things I’ve done for myself this year is to lean in to poetry. I’ve made poetry a part of my daily reading and writing habits. I’ve also taken some poetry classes, including Sylvia Vardell and Janet Wong’s Anthology classes (I’ve taken Anthologies 101, 201, 301, and 401 this year).

I’m so excited to have a poem in the latest Pomelo Books anthology THINGS WE FEEL. All of the proceeds from the sale of this book go to IBBY.

My poem “Zany” is in this book.

Signed Bookplates

If you buy a copy of THINGS WE FEEL, I will mail you a bookplate sticker that you can put right on the “Zany” page. Fill out this form for a bookplate (and I’m even offering some poetry postcards via snail mail, if you wish).

What I’m Reading

Last week I posted about The Sealey Challenge. The early part of the month is a little bit less scheduled, so I decided to read the verse novels during the first week. I will be taking the photos on Thursday night, so this week you can see what I read August 1-4. Next week, you’ll get to see 7 books (hopefully).

What I read:
